Starting SPM
- Double-click the icon for WinSPM
- When prompted, enter your User Name and Password.
(By default, there is NO user name or password. Just
click on the "OK" button)
Connecting to your Magix System
- If you have more than one "site", click on the site you
want to connect to
- If there are multiple ways to connect to the site, click
on the connection method
- Click on the "Connect" icon in the Left-Hand pane
- If connecting by modem, select the modem to use and click
on "OK"
- If connecting by modem, you will be asked for the System
Password
- Wait for SPM to connect, retrieve the common information,
and present you with the programming menu
- If WinSPM detects that no changes have been made since
the last session, you will be asked if you want to use "cached data". Click
"OK" to continue
Disconnecting from your Magix System
- Click on the "Disconnect" icon in the Left-Hand pane
- You will be asked if you are sure you want to disconnect.
Click on "Yes"
- Wait for WinSPM to finish disconnecting, then close
WinSPM if finished
